ESPN has suspended Pardon the Interruption co-host Tony Kornheiser for his comments regarding SportsCenter anchor Hannah Storm‘s wardrobe.
An ESPN spokesman confirmed to The Big Lead that Kornheiser, co-host of Pardon The Interruption since ’01, has been suspended from ESPN. The suspension is likely to last for “a few days.”
Kornheiser was replaced by Dan Le Batard on Monday’s edition of Pardon The Interruption.
On his DC-area ESPN Radio show last week, Kornheiser referred to Storm’s on-air wardrobe as “horrifying.” Kornheiser: “She?s got on red go-go boots and a Catholic school plaid skirt — way too short for somebody in her 40s or maybe early 50s by now. She?s got on her typically very, very tight shirt. So, she looks like she’s got sausage casing wrapped around her upper body.”
