John Wall played what will likely be his final college basketball game in front of a large television audience on Saturday.
West Virginia’s win over Kentucky on Saturday night drew a 7.3/15 final rating and 12.1 million viewers on CBS, up 11% in ratings and 14% in viewership from Villanova/Pittsburgh last year (6.6/12, 10.6 mil).
The game ranks as the highest rated Saturday Elite Eight game since Arizona/Illinois in 2005 (8.7/16).
Saturday’s game was the 11th-most viewed primetime program of the week on broadcast television, and the 10th-most viewed in the key adults 18-49 demographic.
