Ratings jumped double-digits for the first game of Sunday’s Elite Eight double dip.
Sunday’s Michigan St./Tennessee game drew a 6.6 fast-national rating on CBS Sunday, up 27% from Michigan St./Louisville last year (5.2), and up 29% from Memphis/Texas in ’08 (5.1).
Viewership for the game was not immediately available.
The 6.6 rating is the highest for the early Sunday Elite Eight window since Wisconsin/North Carolina in ’05 (6.7), and the third-highest for the window since ’99.
