- Versus is returning to DirecTV. DirecTV announced on Monday that it has come to an agreement to restore Versus to its channel lineup after a six-month dispute that resulted in the satellite provider dropping the Comcast-owned sports network. - ESPN is moving the bulk of its Major League Soccer coverage back to Thursday nights. ESPN2 will air 18 of its 27 MLS telecasts on Thursday nights during the 2010 season, with other games on Sundays (4), Wednesdays (2), Fridays (2) and Saturdays (1). Last season, ESPN decided against devoting one particular night to MLS coverage, with just seven of the network’s 25 MLS telecasts airing on Thursdays. (Sports Business Journal)
