- Gymnastics’ Tyson American Cup drew a 0.8 final rating on NBC last Sunday, down 27% from last year (1.1), and down 33% from 2008 (1.2). This is the fourth consecutive year that ratings have declined for the event. To put the number in perspective, the American Cup drew a 3.2 rating in 1998, and a 2.0 as recently as 2004.
