Regional MLB action featuring Yankees/Rays drew a 1.7 overnight rating on FOX Saturday afternoon, down 29% from coverage featuring Red Sox/Angels last year (2.4).
Saturday’s telecast aired directly opposite third round coverage of The Masters on CBS, which drew a 7.6 overnight.
The rough start to the 2010 season comes after FOX averaged a record low 1.8 rating for regular season coverage last year.
