One of the most prominent personalities at ESPN is set to remain with the network.
ESPN will announce on Monday that Chris Berman has signed a multi-year deal to remain with the network, according to USA Today.
Currently in the final year of his contract with ESPN, Berman had previously been rumored to be sought after by NFL Network and DirecTV.
Berman, who joined ESPN during the network’s first year in 1979, told USA Today that he intends to stay with the network “as long as they’ll have me.”
