The Bruins dominated the sports landscape in Boston Friday night.
Bruins/Flyers Game 4 drew an 8.3 rating and 328,000 viewers on Versus in Boston Friday night. The game easily topped Yankees/Red Sox on NESN (6.3, 223,000 viewers) and more than doubled Cavaliers/Celtics Game 3 on ESPN (4.1, 142,000).
Keep in mind that while the Celtics and Red Sox were both blown out (the Celtics suffered their worst home playoff loss ever), the Bruins lost in sudden-death overtime.
Even with that qualifier, the Bruins’ dominance is certainly impressive — especially considering that the Bruins finished behind both the Celtics and Red Sox during the regular season.
