- FOX drew a 1.4 final rating and 2.193 million viewers for regional MLB action featuring Mets/Dodgers last Saturday, down 26% in ratings and 23% in viewership from action featuring Cardinals/Phillies last year (1.9, 2.862 mil) and down 50% and 44%, respectively, from coverage featuring Yankees/Red Sox in 2008 (2.8, 3.914 mil). - Sunday’s Cardinals/Cubs game drew a 1.9 U.S. rating and 2.927 million viewers on ESPN, up 27% in ratings and 26% in viewership from White Sox/Tigers last year (1.5, 2.321 mil), but down 32% and 36%, respectively, from Yankees/Red Sox in ’08 (2.8, 4.230 mil).
- Tuesday’s Athletics/Rangers game drew a 6.1 rating on Fox Sports Southwest in Dallas-Ft. Worth, a new season-high and the fourth-highest rating ever for a Rangers telecast on the network.
