- ESPN drew a 1.7 U.S. rating and 2.627 million viewers for Red Sox/Yankees last Sunday night. There was no comparable telecast last year. Of the four Red Sox/Yankees games on Sunday Night Baseball this season, the highest rated drew a 2.3. - The baseball season ended on a low note for ESPN Wednesday. Marlins/Braves drew a 0.4 U.S. rating and 476,000 viewers Wednesday afternoon, while Diamondbacks/Giants drew a not-much-better 0.5 and 601,000 late that night. (pifeedback.com)
- Wednesday’s aforementioned Diamondbacks/Giants game drew a 9.25 rating on Comcast SportsNet Bay Area, the network’s highest rating ever for a Giants telecast.
