Overnight ratings fell for the latest edition of Monday Night Football.
ESPN earned a 10.0 overnight rating for the Steelers’ win over the Bengals Monday night, down 7% from Week 9 last year (PIT/DEN: 10.7), but up 6% from Week 9 in 2008 (PIT/WSH: 9.4).
Compared to last week’s Texans/Colts game, which aired opposite the World Series on FOX, Monday’s overnight was up 16% from an 8.3.
The 10.0 overnight was the lowest of Week 9, trailing Sunday’s four telecasts on CBS, FOX and NBC.
The ESPN telecast drew a 15.5 rating in Pittsburgh and an 11.9 in Cincinnati. As usual, the matchup was simulcast on local broadcast affiliates in both markets, earning a 34.4 on Pittsburgh ABC affiliate WTAE and a 22.1 on Cincinnati CBS affiliate WKRC.
