The college football regular season concluded on a down note last week.
Last Saturday’s Army/Navy game drew a 3.3 final rating and 4.925 million viewers on CBS, down 11% in ratings and 12% in viewership compared to last year (3.7, 5.597 mil).
Despite the drop, the 3.3 rating is the second-highest for the Army/Navy game since 2000.
This was the second straight year the Army/Navy game was played the week after Championship Saturday. Prior to the move, the game had drawn a 3.0 rating or lower in each of the previous five years.
Army/Navy drew lower-than-average numbers for CBS, which averaged a 4.2 and 6.944 million viewers for its SEC package. For more details on CBS SEC ratings, click here.
