Viewership hit a record high for the three-year-old Beef O’Brady Bowl.
Louisville’s win over Southern Mississippi in the Beef O’Brady Bowl drew a 2.0 U.S. rating and 2.997 million viewers on ESPN December 21, up 25% in ratings and 21% in viewership from last year (RUTG/UCF: 1.6, 2.469 mil).
The game ranks as the most-viewed Beef O’Brady Bowl ever (three games). The inaugural game in 2008 drew 1.661 million viewers.
Of the eight bowls through December 26, the Beef O’Brady Bowl ranks fourth in viewership.
