With the lead game rescheduled due to inclement weather, Sunday’s Week 14 NFL singleheader on FOX managed to stay virtually even with last year’s numbers.
NFL action featuring Packers/Lions in 55% of TV markets earned an 11.3 overnight rating on FOX Sunday afternoon, down 1% from Week 14 last year (NO/ATL: 11.4, FOX), and down 3% from Week 14 in 2008 (NYJ/SF*: 11.6, CBS).
Sunday’s telecast was originally scheduled to feature Giants/Vikings in 49% of TV markets and Patriots/Lions in just 12%. However, Giants/Vikings was postponed to Monday night due to inclement weather.
The Giants/Vikings game will air on FOX in the team’s primary and secondary local television markets.
The 11.3 overnight for Sunday’s telecast ranks near the middle of the pack for the singleheader window this season (14 telecasts), behind seven telecasts and ahead of six.
