CBS earned mediocre — for the NFL — numbers in its last doubleheader of the regular season.
The Week 17 NFL national window on CBS, featuring Titans/Colts, drew an 11.2 overnight rating on CBS Sunday afternoon — down 9% from Week 17 last year (PIT/MIA: 12.3), and down 7% from 2008 (NE/BUF: 12.1).
The 11.2 is easily the lowest overnight of the season for the NFL national window on any network (18 telecasts). Sunday’s Week 17 national window on FOX earned a 16.3.
Earlier in the day, additional regional action drew a 9.5 overnight, even with last year (BAL/OAK: 9.5), and down 2% from 2008 (MIA/NYJ: 9.7).
The two telecasts on CBS drew the lowest overnights of Week 17 (five telecasts).
