Major League Soccer will debut on NBC Sports Group on the second day of the 2012 season.
The first MLS match on NBC Sports Group will air on Sunday, March 11 on NBC Sports Network, it was announced Wednesday. March 11 will be the second day of the 2012 MLS season, with Chivas USA and FC Dallas playing home openers against unidentified opponents.
As part of the television deal between NBC Sports Group and MLS, NBCSN will televise 38 regular season matches next season, and the NBC broadcast network will air three.
Calling the March 11 match will be Arlo White, who was officially named the lead voice of MLS on NBC. White spent the past two seasons as the local voice of the Seattle Sounders.
