- Small Audience For Air Force/Navy: Last Saturday’s Air Force/Navy college football game earned a mere 1.1 final rating and 1.577 million viewers on CBS. Originally slated for Versus, the game aired on CBS in place of #1 LSU/#2 Alabama, which was moved to primetime. (Nielsen)
- Slight Drop For ESPN’s Michigan/Iowa Game: ESPN drew a 2.7 U.S. rating and 3.945 million viewers for #15 Michigan/Iowa last Saturday, down 7% in ratings and 9% in viewership from last year’s comparable triple-overtime thriller (ILL/MICH: 2.9, 4.326M), but up 29% and 27%, respectively, from 2009 (NWU/IOWA: 2.1, 3.099M). - ABC’s Breeders’ Cup Coverage Down: Coverage of horse racing’s Breeders’ Cup drew a 0.9 final rating and 1.263 million viewers on ABC last Saturday, down 25% in ratings and 22% in viewership from last year (1.2, 1.613M), but flat and down 9%, respectively, compared to 2009 (0.9, 1.383M).
