The television schedule for the 2012 Major League Baseball postseason.

There will be several changes to the 2012 baseball playoff schedule, not the least of which is the addition of the new Wild Card round. Both AL and NL Wild Card games will air on TBS Friday, October 5.
In addition, MLB Network will now air two Division Series games each year. The network will air a Game 1 or Game 2 of the Division Series on Sunday, October 7, and a Game 3 or Game 4 on Wednesday, October 10.
Also this year, the baseball playoffs will have to compete with the presidential debates. Game 3 of the ALCS on TBS is scheduled to air opposite the second presidential debate, and Game 7 of the NLCS on FOX would air opposite the third.
