Former NBC Analyst Pepper Joins ESPN
- Former NBC golf analyst Dottie Pepper has joined ESPN, the network announced this week. Pepper, who left NBC last year to take an executive role with the PGA, will serve in a variety of roles on ESPN golf coverage and will also contribute to “SportsCenter.” She will make her debut during the network’s coverage of the U.S. Open. Briggs Out at “The Crossover”
- NBC Sports Network personality Dave Briggs will no longer co-host the network’s sports talk show “The Crossover,” The Big Lead reported Thursday. Brown Replaces Van Gundy on Sunday’s WCF Opener
- ESPN/ABC NBA analyst Hubie Brown will replace Jeff Van Gundy on Game 1 of the Grizzlies/Spurs Western Conference Finals Sunday afternoon. There was no immediate word on why Van Gundy will be absent. Grizzlies/Spurs will be the second game in less than 24 hours for Brown, who is also scheduled to call Game 6 of the Knicks/Pacers second round series on Saturday night. (ESPN Media Zone)
