ESPN, PBA, Reach Extension
- ESPN and the Professional Bowlers Association have reached a five-year media rights extension, it was announced Monday. The new deal, which goes into effect December 1, includes 11 additional hours of coverage per year. (ESPN Media Zone)
ESPN2 to Televise CFL Games
- ESPN2 has agreed to televise five Canadian Football League games during the 2013 season, starting with Roughriders/Eskimos on Saturday afternoon. The news of a potential deal was first reported by Fang’s Bites. ESPN2 will also air coverage on July 4, July 13, July 20, and July 25. ESPN, Kansas, Reach Streaming Deal
- The University of Kansas has agreed to a seven-year deal with ESPN to stream 70 live university sporting events on ESPN3.com. Under the deal, ESPN3.com will stream nationally 50 local Metro Sports telecasts and 20 additional games. Among the 70 telecasts are two football games (includes the spring game) and six men’s basketball games (includes two exhibitions). (ESPN Media Zone)
