- Since Alex Rodriguez returned to the line-up on August 6, New York Yankees regular season games have averaged a 2.8 rating on YES Network — an increase of 13% over the team’s average prior to his return. Rangers On Pace For Highest Rated Month of Season
- Texas Rangers games have averaged a 5.5 rating on Fox Sports Southwest during the month of August, on pace to be the team’s highest rated month of the season. For the season, the Rangers have averaged a 4.86 rating on FS Southwest — still well below last year’s full-season pace of 5.9. (Nielsen)

- The ESPN “Nine For IX” documentary “The ’99ers” earned 491,000 viewers Tuesday night, the second-largest audience of the series. Only “Runner” the previous week earned a larger audience (548K).
