Palmer Gives Fowler Heimlich
- ESPN college football analyst Jesse Palmer performed the Heimlich maneuver on broadcast partner Chris Fowler at halftime of Saturday’s Pinstripe Bowl, according to ESPN’s company blog. Fowler began choking on his food in ESPN’s green room when Palmer, who had never performed the procedure before, sprung into action. (ESPN Front Row)
- University of Alabama head football coach Nick Saban will serve as a guest analyst on ESPN’s “College Gameday” next Monday, prior to the Florida State/Auburn BCS National Championship Game. Saban previously served as a guest analyst for ESPN’s coverage of the 2010 BCS title game between Auburn and Oregon. - Former NFL player Tim Tebow has joined ESPN and the new SEC Network as a college football analyst, it was announced Monday. Tebow will make his debut on ESPN’s studio coverage of the BCS National Championship Game and will serve as an analyst for the college football playoffs next year.
