With ESPN airing all four tennis ‘grand slams’ starting next year, it should be no surprise the network has expanded its relationship with John McEnroe.
ESPN announced Monday that McEnroe will have an expanded role on the ESPN family of networks, including regular appearances on “SportsCenter,” “Olbermann” and “Mike and Mike in the Morning.” On “SportsCenter,” McEnroe will both analyze the news of the day — both in and outside of tennis — and interview top newsmakers.
His new role goes into effect immediately, but will not affect his other commitments on NBC and CBS.
McEnroe is no stranger to talking about events outside of tennis, having once hosted a talk show on CNBC.
