Howard Joins NBC Sports in Multi-Year Deal
- Everton and United States national team goalkeeper Tim Howard has agreed to a multi-year deal with NBC Sports to serve as a game and studio analyst for its English Premier League coverage. Howard, who was a guest analyst last season, will have his appearances scheduled around his Everton duties. (NBC Sports Group Press Box)
NBPA Elects New Executive Director
- The National Basketball Players Association has elected Michele Roberts as its new executive director, filling the vacancy left after the ouster of Billy Hunter. The current NBA collective bargaining agreement has an opt-out clause after the 2016-17 season, which if exercised could lead to a lockout. (USA Today)
ESPN Hires NFL Network Anchor
