Overnights Drop For ESPN’s College Football Tripleheader
- The Mississippi/Texas A&M college football game drew a 2.7 overnight rating on ESPN Saturday night, down 21% from the same match-up last year (3.4) and down 27% from South Carolina/LSU in 2012 (3.7), but still the network’s top college football game of the week. Alabama/Arkansas earlier in the night had a 2.1 overnight, down 19% from last year’s quadruple-overtime Michigan/Penn State game (2.6). Blackhawks Start Season With Record on CSN Chicago
- Last Thursday’s Blackhawks/Stars NHL regular season game drew a 5.4 rating on Comcast SportsNet Chicago, the network’s highest ever for a season opener. EPL Viewership Up Double-Digits on NBC, NBCSN
- Through week seven of the season, NBC and NBCSN have averaged 498,000 viewers for coverage of the English Premier League — up 16% from last year (429K).
