The Ravens/Steelers rivalry generated solid enough numbers for Sunday Night Football.
The Week 9 Ravens/Steelers Sunday Night Football game drew an 11.1 final rating and 18.6 million viewers on NBC, up 7% in ratings and 9% in viewership from Colts/Texans last year (10.4, 17.0M) but down 16% and 15%, respectively, from Cowboys/Falcons in 2012 (13.2, 21.8M).
The Steelers’ blowout win actually drew fewer viewers than Packers/Saints opposite the World Series the previous week (18.8M), though the rating was slightly higher (11.1 to 10.9).
Among adults 18-49, the game drew a 6.7 rating — up 6% from last year (6.3) but down 21% from 2012 (8.5).
