Cavaliers Hit Four-Year High on FS Ohio
- Tuesday’s Pelicans/Cavaliers NBA regular season game drew a 9.7 rating on Fox Sports Ohio, the network’s top Cavaliers rating since October 2010. It was the first Cavaliers telecast on FS Ohio this season that did not compete with a national broadcast or begin after 10 PM ET. (Morning-Journal)
More Declines For NBA on ESPN, TNT
- ESPN drew over 1.6 million viewers for the Rockets/T’Wolves NBA game Wednesday night, down 7% from Thunder/Clippers last year (1.7M) and down 28% from Heat/Clippers in 2012 (2.2M). Pacers/Heat drew nearly 1.6 million earlier in the night (-1%). On Thursday, TNT drew 1.4 million for Bulls/Raptors — down 29% from Rockets/Knicks last year (2.0M) but up 3% from Celtics/Nets in 2012 (1.4M). The Nets/Warriors nightcap had 1.3 million (-31%).
