Over 2M For El Clasico on BeIN Networks
- Sunday’s El Clasico between Real Madrid and FC Barcelona earned a combined 2.1 million viewers on BeIN Sports and BeIN Sports en Espanol, including 1.4 million on the latter alone. Viewership on the English-language channel increased 16% over the last El Clasico in October, while the Spanish-language numbers soared by 64%. - Also Sunday, the Liverpool/Manchester United English Premier League match earned a combined 1.2 million viewers on NBCSN and NBC Universo. The audience included 950,000 on NBCSN alone, the third-largest EPL audience ever on a single cable network, and the largest such audience before 10 AM ET. - ESPN Deportes drew 451,000 viewers for the Barcelona/Manchester City UEFA Champions League Round of 16 match last Wednesday, the network’s top audience of the year. The match also ranks as the most-watched Champions League telecast on any Spanish-language cable network this season.
