NFL Picks Yahoo! to Stream Live Game
- The NFL has announced Yahoo! as the digital outlet to air the October 25 Bills/Jaguars game from London, the first NFL game to air exclusively via a digital platform. As previously noted, the game will be available via over-the-air broadcast networks in the home markets — Buffalo CBS affiliate WIVB and Jacksonville CBS affiliate WJAX. (NFL Communications)
CBSSN to Air MAC Football, Basketball Games
- CBS Sports has reached an agreement with ESPN to sub-license Mid-American Conference football and basketball games. Under the agreement, which runs from this season through 2018-19, CBS Sports Network will air six football and up to seven basketball games this season and 12 of each in every subsequent season. New Year’s Six Schedule Announced
- The start times for this year’s New Year’s Six college football bowl games were announced Tuesday, with the semifinals scheduled for New Year’s Eve at 4 and 8 PM ET. As for the other bowls, the Peach Bowl will again air at Noon ET on New Year’s Eve and the Rose and Sugar will remain at 5:00 and 8:30 PM, respectively, on New Year’s Day. The Fiesta Bowl has a new timeslot, moving to an unusually early 1 PM ET (11 AM local) New Year’s Day start. (collegefootballplayoff.com)
