Double-Digit Rise For Xfinity Series at Brickyard
- Last Saturday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series race from Indianapolis drew a 1.6 final rating and 2.3 million viewers on NBC, up 23% in ratings and 15% in viewership from last year (1.3, 2.0M) and up 14% and 20%, respectively, from 2013 (1.4, 1.9M), both on ESPN. The race is tied as the second-highest rated Xfinity Series telecast of the season, matching Talladega and Phoenix on FOX and trailing only Daytona on Fox Sports 1 (1.7). (via NBC Sports)

- The Angels/Astros Wednesday Night Baseball game drew 577,000 viewers on ESPN, up 2% from a rain delayed Giants/Phillies game last year (568K) but down 16% from Rays/Red Sox in 2013 (687K).
