UFC on FOX scored its largest ever summer audience last weekend.
The latest edition of the UFC on FOX scored a 1.7 final rating and 2.8 million viewers Saturday night, up 13% in ratings and 11% in viewership from last year’s summer telecast (1.5, 2.5M), and up 13% and 16%, respectively, from coverage in summer 2013 (1.5, 2.4M).
Compared to the network’s most recent UFC telecast in April, ratings increased by 13% and viewership held steady.
Saturday’s telecast ranks as the highest rated and most-watched summer edition of UFC on FOX (four telecasts), topping the previous marks of 1.5 and 2.5 million. It was also the second straight UFC telecast on FOX to have a year-over-year increase, after eight of the previous ten declined.
By comparison, the most recent primetime edition of the Premier Boxing Champions series on NBC drew a 1.5 and 2.3 million in June.
Among adults 18-49, the telecast drew a 1.1 rating — even with the most recent telecast in April (1.1). Last year’s demo rating was not immediately available.
