ESPN Analyst Peck Leaves Network
- ESPN women’s basketball analyst Carolyn Peck has left the network after joining the coaching staff at Vanderbilt. Her final assignment was Tuesday’s Lynx/Liberty WNBA game. Peck was in her second stint with ESPN, having rejoined in 2007 after a previous run from 2001-04. (“WNBA on ESPN”)
NBC Extends Florio
- NBC Sports has reached a “long-term” contract extension with NFL reporter Mike Florio and his website Pro Football Talk, it was announced Tuesday. Thom Brennaman to Miss Time After Procedure on Throat
- Fox Sports and Cincinnati Reds play-by-play voice Thom Brennaman will undergo preventative surgery on his throat this week “to help correct a chronic hoarseness” he has felt for the past two months.
