Premier Boxing Champions was less of a draw in its second outing on FOX.
The second edition of Premier Boxing Champions on FOX earned a 1.1 final rating and 1.6 million viewers last Saturday night, down 27% in ratings and 36% in viewership from the network’s first PBC telecast in January, which also aired in primetime (1.5, 2.5M).
Compared to the last PBC event on primetime broadcast television, ratings and viewership increased 22% and 28%, respectively, from coverage on NBC two weeks earlier (0.9, 1.3M). That telecast remains the lowest rated and least-watched primetime PBC card on a major broadcast network.
Among adults 18-49, the telecast had a 0.4 rating — down 50% from the first PBC on FOX telecast in January (0.8).
Head-to-head, PBC on FOX trailed both the Thunder/Spurs NBA playoff game on TNT (2.2, 3.6M) and the Penguins/Capitals Stanley Cup playoff game on NBC (1.4, 2.5M).
In other recent PBC action, Spike TV scored 513,000 for coverage last Friday — down 41% from its record-setting performance the previous month (873K).
