2016 Summer Olympics on NBCSN (August 3-21, 8 AM-Midnight ET)
- NBCSN will televise more than 20 sports over 330 hours during the Summer Olympics, more than any other network, NBC Sports announced Monday. Coverage will typically run from 8 AM to Midnight ET and include both the basketball and soccer tournaments (including the United States teams). The network’s schedule opens with women’s soccer on August 3 — two days before the Opening Ceremony — and runs through the final day of competition on August 21. (NBC Sports Group Press Box)
CFB: Big 12 Championship Game (2017, FOX)
- The Big 12 Conference announced last week that it will resume holding a conference championship game in 2017, its first since dropping from 12 to 10 teams in 2011. The 2017 game will air on Fox Sports, per The Oklahoman, as it holds rights to the conference championship in odd years. ESPN will broadcast the game in even years. CFB: Virginia Tech/Tennessee from Bristol (September 10, 8 PM ET ABC)
- The September 10 Virginia Tech/Tennessee college football game, which will take place from Bristol Motor Speedway, will be televised by ABC as part of its Saturday Night Football series.
