ESPN Keeps Dilfer
- ESPN has reached a contract extension with NFL studio analyst Trent Dilfer, who will continue his current duties on Monday Night Countdown and add a new role on Sunday Night Countdown. The announcement came on the heels of previous reports that ESPN would part ways with Dilfer, who has been with the network since 2008. ESPN’s Benetti Gets First National MLB Assignment
- ESPN play-by-play voice Jason Benetti will call Wednesday’s Nationals/Dodgers Major League Baseball game on the network, his first national MLB assignment. NBC Names Slew of Olympic Studio Hosts
- NBC Sports announced Monday that Dave Briggs, Brett Haber, Fred Roggin, Rob Simmelkjaer and Ahmed Fareed will serve as studio hosts for coverage of the Summer Olympics.
