- The premiere of ESPN’s 30 For 30 documentary Doc & Darryl earned a 0.8 final rating and 1.2 million viewers on ESPN Thursday night, up 207% in viewership from last year’s July premiere of Angry Sky (390K). Of the fifteen 30 For 30 premieres in Volume III of the series (dating back to October), Thursday’s telecast earned the fifth-smallest audience. (via Programming Insider)
Mets Ratings At Six-Year High Through All-Star Break
- New York Mets Major League Baseball games averaged a 2.91 rating on SNY during the first half of the season (88 telecasts), up 30% from last year and the network’s highest average since 2010. Wimbledon Encores Mixed on ABC
- An encore presentation of the Serena Williams/Angelique Kerber Wimbledon women’s final drew a 0.9 final rating and 1.3 million viewers on ABC last Saturday, flat in ratings but up 8% in viewership from last year (0.9, 1.2M). On Sunday, an encore of the Andy Murray/Milos Raonic men’s final drew a 0.7 and 913,000 — flat and down 11%, respectively, from last year (0.7, 1.0M).
