Live coverage of the Tour de France scored a slight increase on NBC last weekend. In other news, NBC’s Scottish Open coverage declined from last year, and CBS put up low numbers for Greenbrier Classic replacement coverage.

Scottish Open Down on NBC
- Final round coverage of the European Tour Scottish Open had a 0.7 final rating and 1.0 million viewers on NBC last Sunday afternoon, down 22% in ratings and 12% in viewership from last year (0.9, 1.2M) and flat and up 7%, respectively, from 2014 (0.7, 954K). Third round action the previous day earned a 0.5 and 722,000, down a tick in ratings and 9% in viewership from last year (0.6, 792K) and flat and up 4%, respectively, from 2014 (0.5, 695K).
Greenbrier Replays Low on CBS
- CBS earned a 0.5 final rating and 634,000 viewers last Saturday and a 0.6 and 856,000 last Sunday for PGA Greenbrier Classic replacement programming, which consisted of replays of past tournaments. This year’s tournament was canceled due to flooding. As one would expect, the telecasts were the lowest rated PGA Tour windows of the season on a broadcast network.
