After Fox Sports swiped a few ESPN personnel, the network has returned the favor. In other news, ESPN has extended college football analyst David Pollack, and recently retired NFL CB Charles Tillman has joined Fox Sports.
McGrath Leaves FOX For ESPN
- ESPN has hired Fox Sports sideline repoter Molly McGrath to serve in the same capacity on its college football and basketball broadcasts, the network announced this week. During the football season, McGrath will work Friday night games with the team of Adam Amin and Mack Brown and also host occasional editions of ESPN’s daily studio show College Football Live. She had been with Fox Sports since the launch of Fox Sports 1 in 2013. (ESPN Media Zone)
ESPN Extends Pollack
- ESPN has reached a contract extension with college football studio analyst David Pollack, who will continue to appear on College Gameday and take on what the network calls a “more prominent” role on College Football Live. Pollack is entering his eighth year with ESPN. (ESPN Media Zone)
Recently Retired Tillman Joins FOX
- Fox Sports has hired former Chicago Bears CB Charles Tillman as a studio analyst for its Fox NFL Kickoff show, filling the vacancy left by ESPN-bound Randy Moss. The announcement came Thursday, within hours of Tillman’s retirement from the league. (Fox Sports)
