While CBS got the best NFC games on Sunday, FOX was left with the scraps.
The Week 11 NFL singleheader window, featuring Bears/Giants or Cardinals/Vikings in most markets, had 14.3 million viewers on FOX Sunday afternoon — down 18% from last year (17.4M) and down 21% from 2014 (17.9M), both on CBS. Ratings fell 19% year-over-year (from 10.41 to 8.45).
The telecast ranks as the lowest rated and least-watched NFL singleheader on FOX this season (six telecasts). Regardless of network, it ranks second-lowest in both measures ahead of the previous week’s coverage on CBS (7.8, 13.2M).
Despite the lower numbers, the singleheader still outperformed Thursday Night Football on NBC and NFL Network days earlier (8.1, 13.3M).
