CBS NFL ratings were not much to brag about in Week 10. In other news, TCU-Oklahoma got lost in the shuffle on FOX, and Top Rank Boxing scored a boost from Alabama.
CBS NFL Ratings Weak in Week 10
It ranks as the lowest rated and least-watched singleheader since Week 1 (7.6, 13.3M). All-but-one singleheader this season has declined.
TCU-Oklahoma Lost in the Shuffle
The top-ten matchup ranked just seventh for the weekend among college football games. Head-to-head, it trailed both Notre Dame-Miami on ABC (3.9, 6.7M) and Alabama-Mississippi State on ESPN (3.9, 7.0M).
It was not even the day’s top game on Fox Sports, ranking a distant second behind Michigan State-Ohio State earlier in the day (2.4, 3.7M). In other action, FOX scored 1.6 million for USC-Stanford Saturday afternoon and FS1 earned 1.0 million for Stanford’s upset of Washington last Friday night. There were no comparable windows last year.
Bama Boosts Boxing
Birmingham, presumably still basking in the glow of Alabama’s narrow win, was the top market with an 8.2 rating.
