UFC ratings hit an all-time FOX low over the weekend.
UFC on FOX 27 earned a 1.1 rating and 1.77 million viewers Saturday night, down 15% in ratings and 19% in viewership from last year’s January card (1.3, 2.2M) and the lowest rated and least-watched mixed martial arts event ever on broadcast television (33 telecasts dating back to 2008).
The previous lows were a 1.2 and 2.0 million for UFC on FOX 21 in August 2016. Including the 11,000 who streamed coverage on Fox Sports GO, the telecast had 1.78 million viewers — still an all-time low.
The last five UFC telecasts on FOX rank among the six lowest rated and least-watched MMA cards on broadcast TV. No UFC on FOX card has exceeded a 1.3 rating or 2.2 million viewers in more than a year.
In adults 18-49, Saturday’s telecast had a 0.6 rating — also the lowest ever for UFC on FOX. It tied for third-place in the demo Saturday night and was more-than-doubled by the competing Celtics-Warriors NBA game on ABC (1.5).
