The Pac-12 hit a season-high on ABC last weekend.
ABC’s Saturday Night Football (Oregon-Arizona State) averaged a 2.4 rating and 4.09 million viewers last weekend, marking the highest rated and most-watched Pac-12 conference game this season. The previous highs were a 2.3 and 3.62 million for Oregon-Washington on ABC last month.
Including out-of-conference games, the Sun Devils’ upset win ranks second behind Oregon-Auburn in week one (4.0, 6.88M).
Earlier in the day, the network averaged a 1.3 and 1.94 million viewers for UCLA-USC, marking the smallest audience for that rivalry since at least 2012. The previous low was 1.98 million for last year’s game.
Rounding out the day’s action, Minnesota-Northwestern averaged an ABC season-low 0.9 and 1.36 million.
Over on ESPN, Arkansas-LSU topped the week thirteen charts with a 1.9 and 3.17 million — the network’s highest rated and most-watched game in more than a month.
In other action, Michigan-Indiana averaged a 1.4 and 2.30 million; Western Carolina-Alabama a 0.9 and 1.44 million; and Washington-Colorado a 0.8 and 1.18 million. Last Thursday’s NC State-Georgia Tech game brought up the rear with a 0.4 and 558,000.
ESPN2 topped out at a 0.53 and 871,000 for Oklahoma State-West Virginia.
There are no relevant comparisons to week thirteen last year, which was rivalry weekend.
