- Bobby Murcer: The Emmy Award winning Yankees broadcaster died due to complications from brain cancer on Saturday. Murcer, 62, was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor in December of 2006. He began broadcasting New York Yankees games in 1983, following his retirement from baseball, working for WPIX, WNYW and most recently the YES Network.
- Matt Devlin: The part-time TNT NBA broadcaster has been named the new voice of Toronto Raptors telecasts. Devlin, recently the play-by-play voice of the Charlotte Bobcats, will replace Chuck Swirsky.
- Nelly: The Grammy Award winning performer and part owner of the NBA Charlotte Bobcats will appear on ESPN First Take on Monday. Nelly will be Skip Bayless‘ foil during the “First and Ten” debate segments.
