Though down from last year, the Week 2 NFL singleheader on FOX scored strong ratings last week.
The Week 2 NFL singleheader, featuring Cowboys/Seahawks, drew a 12.0 final rating on FOX last Sunday — down 9% from coverage featuring Bears/Saints last year (13.2), but up 13% from coverage featuring Bears/Cowboys in 2010 (10.6).
Keep in mind that, at the time, last year’s telecast was the highest rated singleheader on FOX since 1999.
Sunday’s telecast finished only slightly behind the NFL national window on CBS (12.2) and “Sunday Night Football” on NBC (12.9).
