Final ratings declined precipitously for last week’s NFL singleheader on CBS.
The Week 4 NFL singleheader window drew an 8.9 final rating on CBS last Sunday, down 36% from coverage featuring Lions/Cowboys on FOX last year (14.0), and down 16% from coverage on CBS in 2010 (10.6).
The 36% decline is the largest of the season for an NFL telecast on any network.
Last week’s telecast barely edged regional action on FOX (8.7) as the lowest rated NFL window of the day.
