- Stacey Dales: The ESPN sideline reporter is leaving the network after she and ESPN could not come to terms on a contract for 2009. Dales served in a variety of roles at ESPN, ranging from college basketball analyst to college football sideline reporter.
- Steve Mariucci: The NFL Network analyst has been added to the roster of the NFL Gameday Morning pregame show, which has expanded to three hours every Sunday morning. Mariucci, also an analyst for NFL Gameday Final, will spend sixteen hours on the NFL Network set each Sunday — from 9 AM, the start of Morning, to 1 AM, the end of Final.
- Jim Carrey: The actor will appear on ESPN’s Monday Night Countdown next week in a taped segment meant to promote his new movie
Liar, LiarThe Yes Man. In the segment, Carrey will answer NFL-themed questions with “an emphatic ‘YES’ to all and getting increasingly excited as he progresses.”
