Ratings slipped for the Heisman Trophy Presentation on ESPN.
4.15 million viewers tuned in to watch Oklahoma’s Sam Bradford win the Heisman Trophy on Saturday night, down 3% from the record-setting 4.28 million who watched Tim Tebow‘s win last year. The show was up 41% compared to 2006, when Troy Smith won.
The 4.15 million viewers made the Heisman Trophy Presentation the eighth-most viewed program of the week on cable.
The premiere of ESPN’s documentary The Greatest Game Ever Played drew 1.8 million viewers immediately following the Heisman Presentation.
