Mixed Numbers For NASCAR All-Star Race
- Saturday’s NASCAR Sprint Cup All-Star Race from Charlotte drew a 2.3 U.S. rating and almost 3.7 million viewers on Speed Channel, up a tick in ratings but down 2% in viewership from last year (2.2, 3.8M), and down 4% and 13%, respectively, from 2011 (2.4, 4.2M). NBA Draft Lottery Down on ESPN
- The 2013 NBA Draft Lottery drew just under 2.9 million viewers on ESPN Tuesday night, down 2% from last year (2.95M), and up 2% from 2011 (2.8M). While the lottery declined by just 2%, the Grizzlies/Spurs game that followed was down 48% from last year. (The Futon Critic)
Rangers Hit Season-High, But Ratings Down 25%
- Tuesday’s Athletics/Rangers Major League Baseball regular season game drew a 6.9 rating on Fox Sports Southwest, the network’s highest Rangers rating of the season. The previous high was a 6.6 for Tigers/Rangers on May 18. So far this season, Rangers telecasts have averaged a 5.0 rating on FS Southwest — down 25% from a 6.5 through seven weeks last season.
