- Jimmy Connors: The tennis legend has been named the lead analyst for coverage of this year’s U.S. Open on Tennis Channel, joining Bill Macatee and Martina Navratilova. Connors, who has worked for NBC and the BBC in the past, has not worked as an analyst in the U.S. since the early 1990s.
- Herman Edwards: The former Kansas City Chiefs head coach is moving to a position with far better job security. Edwards will join ESPN as an NFL analyst on the network’s various studio shows, including NFL Live and SportsCenter. Edwards, who served as a guest analyst on ESPN last year, will start in mid-February.
- LeBron James: One of the biggest stars in sports is headed to the booth. James will join Kevin Harlan and Kenny Smith on the call for the NBA Rookie/Sophomore game on TNT during February’s NBA All Star Weekend.
