CBS Studio Analysts to Work Games in Week 6
- CBS NFL studio analysts Boomer Esiason, Bill Cowher, and Shannon Sharpe will move to the booth during the network’s Week 6 singleheader on October 13. Esiason will work alongside Kevin Harlan and Solomon Wilcots on Bengals/Bills, Sharpe will call Jaguars/Broncos with Ian Eagle and Dan Fouts, and Cowher will join CBS’ lead team of Jim Nantz and Phil Simms on Steelers/Jets. ESPN Unceremoniously Dumps Marty Reid
- ESPN has dropped lead IndyCar and NASCAR Nationwide Series voice Marty Reid, The Associated Press reported Monday. Reid, who also briefly served as the network’s lead Sprint Cup broadcaster, will be replaced by Allen Bestwick on ESPN’s remaining Nationwide Series telecasts this season. - Blue Jays 2B Mark DeRosa has joined TBS as a guest studio analyst for the network’s MLB playoff coverage, Turner Sports announced Monday.
